jumping rope 2000 times a day for four months and haven’t lost a pound ! Should I keep going?
sharing my personal slimming experience
Since making decision in December 2023, I haven't lose even a single pound despite 5 mouths passing . My sole method to lose weight has been jumping rope ;I haven't on dieting
I inherited my mom's physique ,which is slightly overweight ,short stature typical of an average Asian . My upper body is as same length of my lower body (in other words ,I have short legs which make me shorter ).
I'm only 158cm tall and my weight has been constantly around 53kg to 54kg in the past few years. If I eat too much and skip exercising ,it goes up to 55kg. My ideal weight is 50kg, and at most ,if I go hungry the night before ,it might drop to 52.7kg
Now ,I'm on the half way of my slimming journey. Here is 4 reasons why I still keep jumping ropes even I didn't lose a single weight
my face shape and jawline is more slim than a year ago.
With waistline shrink from 70cm to 64cm, I think it is the most apparent effect when you begin jumping rope Though still in a chubby belly ,I can expand the range of clothes that I choose. It is at least not as obvious as before. In other words ,I have to stick this habit because I still have a lot of weight and fat to loose

My overall body condition has been improved significantly.Last year ,sitting in my office for all day would cause shoulder soreness and neck pains . However ,I haven't experience that soreness for nearly 5 months now.
As I've mentioned ,those fat has transformed into muscles of equivalent weight . Personally ,I prefer a strong and healthy body than the New Yorker standard of being slim
Approximately 5 years ago ,I become 42kg which leads to low blood pressure and irregular periods even my face turn sickly yellow . After that experience,I become more inclined to strong body ,nutritional diets and regular habits. As for my weight ,I am not in any rush .
I don't pay too much attention on diet . I eat just as usual ,enjoying high calories cake ,bread and roast chicken.After my health setbacks 5 years ago ,I've developed a strong preference on fresh meat . I love it ! It can prevent dizziness and symptoms of low blood pressure and make my period more regular.
However ,I still need to reduce my sugar intake for skincare purpose.
This picture showcased our everyday lunch . Because my boyfriend grab a command of cuisine,I developed a fussy but discerning taste on those food . For instance ,as Chinese ,I don't allow him to steam a single variety of rice but uses multigrain rice instead. The rice's color are supposed to be dark.which you can see from this photo
Finally ,hope your guys all can find a way which is suit you lifestyle and personality well to maintain a healthy body or lose weight . After trying yoga ,Pilates and Jogging ,I've found jumping rope is my favorite habits.It is more convenient and easy to persist.
